During the virtual meeting of the State Table for the Construction of Peace, Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa González confirmed that due to the health emergency that he is still facing there will be no return to classrooms next school year.
"We cannot think that the students return to the schools or that the kindergartens open, right now the first thing is to take care of people's health," he said in the videoconference that he led from the offices of the Government Palace.
Aysa González also asked society to work together to combat the spread of the virus, especially called on youth to take care of themselves to protect their parents and grandparents, since they are those who have the greatest risks of becoming seriously ill.
“If we all comply with sanitary provisions, we will be helping to reduce the number of coronavirus cases; unity will help us get ahead, ”he said.

In the meeting where public security actions were evaluated, the following participated: the Secretary General of the Government, Pedro Armentía López; Health, José Luis González Pinzón and Security, Jorge Argáez Uribe; the attorney general, Juan Manuel Herrera Campos; Issste delegates, Humberto Cabrales Aguilar and IMSS, Carlos Félix Medina Villegas and authorities of the Armed Forces.
